Coffee Concert

With Bill Kenchington clarinet and Charlie Martin cello, John Harper will be performing the wonderful Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op 114 by Johannes Brahms, a piece we have been trying to programme for some time, hampered by all three rarely being on the same continent at the same time.

Always trying to discover worthy compositions that may not have crossed your paths before, we will begin the concert with a tuneful little number, a Nocturno, for the same instruments by Friedrich Wilhelm Voigt, not to be missed.

Charlie is contemplating which cello solo to offer you as a filler between the two trios.
