COFFEE CONCERT No 66 – Monday 8th July @ 11.00am

TROIS DAMES TRÈS SPÉCIALES – This will go ahead as planned despite the devastating news about the death of the talented soprano, Bridget Tizzard, who died on Sunday 2nd June. There will be slight modifications to the original programme and the concert will be dedicated to the memory of Bridget. The tenor, Greg Tassell, a some time teacher of Bridget, has kindly agreed to join us on what will be a splendid, yet moving, occasion. The other performers will be Floriane Peycelon violin, Keren Starer-Shaw cello and John Harper piano. They all join together to present beauteous music written by three top female composers – Louise Farrenc, Amy Beach and Cécile Chaminade.
